From flower arranging, to wreath making, our workshops offer you the chance to wile away an afternoon, with all flowers, foliages and tools provided.

Hosted just a stone's throw from our shop at Eden Tearoom and Galleries, our workshops are friendly and relaxed and suitable for seasoned flower arrangers and beginners alike.

Workshop FAQs

Do I need to bring anything with me to a workshop?

We provide all tools and materials needed throughout the course of the workshop.

You're more than welcome to bring along a pair of gloves or an apron if you'd like to, but otherwise we should have everything else you might need at hand.

Do you offer private workshops?

Off site or external private workshops are available and are best suited to larger personal celebrations, such as baby showers, hen parties or birthday parties, alongside corporate events, such as team building or enrichment days.

Do you hold one-to-one classes?

Throughout the year, we offer a handful of one-to-one classes for people looking to hone their skills within a specific aspect of floristry, for example; we have previously offered one-to-one classes to those looking to learn how to create their own bridal bouquets.

These targeted one-to-one sessions are designed to provide insight and instruction, sessions would be beneficial to hobbyist floral arrangers, but are not accredited and therefore not classed as formal industry training.

What happens if I am booked onto a class and need to cancel?

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible to make us aware. Where possible, we will try our best to find you an alternative date/time.

Refunds are only available if we are informed of the cancellation 15 days before the date of your workshop. This is to ensure we have enough time to re-release your space and hopefully secure another booking. You are more than welcome to send along a friend or family member in your place, please just let us know ahead of the workshop.

Autumn Flower Arranging - 22nd Sept at Eden Galleries, Newburgh

Autumn Flower Arranging Date: Sunday 22nd September Time: 13.30 Location: Eden Tearoom & Gallery, Newburgh, WN8 7UB. Join us at Eden Gallery in Newburgh, for an afternoon of flower arranging. Embracing the best Autumnal flowers and foliages, you'll use an abundance of berries, seedheads and grasses to create a seasonal bouquet, ready to display in your favourite vase at home! We'll show you how to create a rustic, wild bouquet using a cleverly concealed armature of chicken wire - this technique is a little different to the traditional ‘spiral’ method taught in our previous workshops and allows for looser and more natural designs, filled with height and depth. You'll condition your flowers and foliages, before using the armature to create your bouquet. Once you're happy with your piece, you'll wrap your design in kraft paper and finish with a flourish of ribbon, ready to take away with you. Informal and relaxed, this session is suitable for everyone, from absolute beginners to those looking to fine tune their existing skills and all tools and materials will be provided. This workshop begins at 13.30 and will run to approximately 15.00. Autumn Wreaths - 13th Oct at Eden Galleries, Newburgh

Autumn Wreath Workshop Date: Sunday 13th October Time: 13.30 Location: Eden Tearoom & Gallery, Newburgh, WN8 7UB. Spend the afternoon creating an Autumn wreath, filled with an array of seasonal foliages, berries and grasses. Using a traditional moss base, you’ll create a wreath filled with colour, texture and depth, we'll guide you step-by-step as you condition foliages and design your wreath. We'll cover wiring techniques and show you how to construct a wild and rustic wreath, carefully made up of all natural materials, ready to hang in pride of place on your door. This workshop is suitable for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned wreath maker or an intrigued beginner, we will be on hand to help you create a fantastic wreath that embraces Autumn’s bounty and captures the essence of the season. We’ll provide everything you need throughout this workshop, which will run from 13.30 to around 15.30.
